Connect Your Navidrome Server

Stream your personal music collection anywhere. Learn how to link your self-hosted Navidrome server to PrivateGroove.

1. Install Navidrome

If you haven't already, you need to set up Navidrome on your home server, NAS, or VPS. It's a lightweight, open-source music server.

2. Find Your Server URL

Make sure your server is accessible from the internet (e.g., https://music.yourdomain.com). Do not use 'localhost' or '127.0.0.1', as your phone won't be able to reach it.

3. Configure PrivateGroove

Open PrivateGroove, go to Settings, and locate the Navidrome section. Enter your exact Server URL, your Navidrome username, and your password.

4. Test & Stream

Tap the 'TEST' button. If everything is green, your entire personal library is now instantly accessible in the PrivateGroove library tab!
